Republicans and their billionaire backed donors are looking to break unions. They want to diminish salaries and take away bargaining rights so everybody will work for lower wages while they get richer.

Yes, well - we need to support Nikki Fried and the Dems and then hold them accountable.

Have you watched Bad Faith - it's on Amazon. Destroying public education is one of the National Christian (thinks they are so "right") Right group.

Not yet but I'll get my hands on it. Thanks! Again, EVERYONE NEEDS to get out the vote to stop a deranged ex-President, CONVICTED FELON from regaining control over the land. What he says about Project 2025 in that "he doesn't know these people", is pure BS. HE knows all about the Heritage Foundation, tucked neatly into Naples Florida. It's home to the Uber Wealthy White Republicans and Rick Scott among others.

In the past 25 years since Governor Bob Graham, the standards and public teaching have gone into the tank. They also promote "collaborative learning" which in essence is student doing the teachers work - it's endless bad presentations - no reference checking - it's a disgrace.

If you want the newest and BEST way to learn (pretty much everything) it's BF Skinner Foundation. The lay person's intro is Karen Pryor - The Art of Teaching and Training.

Otherwise, Florida is a dumpster fire until we can knock out the republicans. WE must hold Tallahassee accountable.

Because Florida is a transient state we seem to lose community …. They move here from another state and some stay but some go back to their communities because they see our state is run by a pay to play system and it is for the rich. It is so apparent because Desantis started in 2019 and he has gotten all these groups to support him to change it to his utopia. Money has changed hands by giving corporations everything they want. They then buy the material Prager U a whole new curriculum. All the colleges and universities got rid of DEI so they placed the white guys in college president jobs. It is so expensive to live in Florida now the bottom will fall out and like in the 80’s we will have foreclosures and the transients will go back home. The difference now is all the rich corruption has moved to Naples, Palm Beach, And somewhere in Northern Florida soon to be ruined by the greed. No longer are middle class retirees coming.. They are making homeowners insurance out of reach so the middle class leave. The ones that own their homes are going without the insurance.. Sad because the sunshine state used to be for all!!
